Our High Life honeymoon itinerary will take you to Argentina and Chile, to places higher than you have ever been before (think 4,000m on some days!). Always with a mind that you are on your honeymoon and a bit of romance never goes amiss, you will be staying at special places along the way, eating very well and the scenery that you will see on this itinerary is second to none. From cities to deserts to salt flats, to mountains, cruises on the Beagle Channel and then back to where your whole adventure began in Buenos Aires. 

Agreed, Argentina is not your average honeymoon destination, yet we know that this is what makes it so good! Who wants to spend their honeymoon with masses of other honeymooners? Do something different (our mantra at Imagine) and head to South America. Remember, you are only supposed to have one honeymoon, so make it GREAT!!

HONEYMOON ITINERARY

Day 1: Depart from the UK to Buenos Aires.

Day 2: Arrival in Buenos Aires, afternoon walking tour to get your bearings.

Day 3: Morning tour of the city and afternoon boat ride to explore the Tigre Delta with great views of Buenos Aires from the coast.

Day 4: Day at leisure to further explore Buenos Aires.

Day 5: Fly north and east to Salta, afternoon city tour on foot, enjoying the colonial architecture of the churches and cathedral around the main plaza.

Day 6: Drive south through to Cafayate through the breathtaking gorge of the same name. Explore wineries before enjoying the scenery in reverse on the way back to Salta.

Day 7: Day to relax at your boutique hotel and enjoy the surroundings.

Day 8: Early start to make the spectacular Safari to the Clouds journey, eating a traditional lunch at nearly 4,000m before continuing through amazing salt flats to Purmamarca.

Day 9: Admire Purmamarca’s Hill of Seven Colours which is nearby, before setting off north to explore the Humahuaca Gorge.

Day 10: Cross the high altiplano into Chile’s Atacama Desert, arriving in the oasis of San Pedro de Atacama town by evening.

Days 11-13: Three full days to explore the Atacama desert area. There is masses to see and do: El Tatio geysers, Puritama hot springs, hike in the Valley of the Moon, see the Salar de Atacama salt-flats etc...

Day 14: Transfer to Calama airport for your flight to Santiago for 2 nights.

Day 15: A morning city tour and afternoon winery visit.

Day 16: Fly to Punta Arenas where you will overnight.

Day 17: Morning transfer to your lodge in the the Torres del Paine National Park. Majestic mountain scenery to be enjoyed over the next 3 full days/4 nights.

Days 18-20: Torres del Paine National Park

Day 21: Transfer back to Punta Arenas where you will pick up your 3 night cruise on the Mare Australis to Ushuaia.

Days 22-23: Explore the Beagle Channel and hopefully Cape Horn (weather permitting).

Day 24: Depart Ushuaia and fly back to Buenos Aires where you epic journey will end!

Day 25: Depart Buenos Aires for the UK.

Day 26: Arrive UK.
