Itinerary
Day 1
Fly from the UK to Buenos Aires.
Days 2&3
Arrive, rest of the day at leisure. Tour of the capital and tango show with dinner.
Day 4
Fly to Bariloche in the lake district. Stay 3 nights at a hotel of your choice. Contact us for recommendations.
Day 5
Excursion to San Martin de los Andes via Villa la Angostura on Lake Nahuel Huapi. Drive along the Road of the Seven Lakes, which passes through two national parks and skirts the eponymous lakes. If the weather holds, this is one of the most beautiful drives in South America, with views of Andean peaks, dense forests and and waters tinted green. San Martin is a charming lakeside mountain town with an Alpine feel. Return to Bariloche in the afternoon.

Day 6
At leisure
Day 7
Fly to El Calafate on the shores of Lago Argentino. Stay 3 nights at a hotel of your choice. Contact us for recommendations or if you like to add days.
Day 8
Full day excursion to the spectacular Perito Moreno glacier, where you can get within a stone’s throw of the creaking ice walls, as they shed shards of ice the size of tower blocks. Includes boat trip on the lake.
Day 9
At leisure. Optional boat trip on Lago Argentino to Estancia Cristina, a working ranch on the prairie.
Day 10
Fly to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego island, southern Patagonia. Stay 3 nights at a hotel of your choice.

Day 11
Tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park, and a cruise down the Beagle Channel by motor launch. You'll see remote rocky shores, islands and beaches, inhabited by penguins and seals: maybe the odd whale or dolphin, too.
Day 12
Fly via Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú. Excursion to the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls. Contact us for hotel recommendations.
Note: Same day connection is not possible daily.
Day 13
Morning guided tour to the Argentina side of the waterfalls. Board a little train that will take you to the beginning of upper path, lower path and Devil’s Throat. Take a zodiac boat to the lower Iguazu River upstream to discover the falls little by little with a panoramic view of the Iguazu Falls.
Day 14
Visit the Brazilian side of the falls for panoramic views. Afternoon flight back to Buenos Aires.
Day 15
Flight back to the UK, ariving on day 16.
