Itinerary

Day 1 London-Buenos Aires
Overnight flight to Buenos Aires

Day 2 Buenos Aires
Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel.

Day 3 Buenos Aires
Afternoon city tour of Buenos Aires. Visit the city centre, San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero and Palermo, and stops in Plaza de Mayo, Caminito and La Recoleta.

Day 4 Buenos Aires – Iguazu
Flight to Puerto Iguazu. Transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a guided tour of the Brazilian falls. The Brazilian falls are more panoramic offering stunning views of the falls. 

Day 5 Iguazu
Morning guided tour to the Argentina side of the waterfalls. Board a little train that will take you to the beginning of upper path, lower path and Devil’s Throat. Take a zodiac boat to the lower Iguazu River upstream to discover the falls little by little with a panoramic view of the Iguazu Falls.

Day 6 Iguazu - Salta
Flight to Salta. Upon arrival pick up your car at the airport. Self drive to your hotel.

Day 7 Salta – Purmamarca
Self drive to San Antonio de los Cobres. Continue to the province of Jujuy on a route that crosses Las Salinas Grandes (The Great Salt Flats) before arriving at the picturesque village of Purmamarca, at the bottom of the famous Seven-Colour Mountain.

Day 8 Purmamarca - Salta
In the morning explore the village of Purmamarca before heading to the town of Tilcara where you can visit the Pucará (ancient ruins). Arrival at Humahuaca is at noon and the afternoon can be spent taking in the breathtaking colourful landscapes of this area. Afternoon return to Salta

Day 9 Salta - Bariloche
Morning self drive to the airport and car drop off. Flight to Bariloche. Upon arrival pick up of your car at the airport. Self drive to your hotel.

Day 10 Bariloche - Villa La Angostura
Drive to lakeside Villa La Angostura set in a fairyland forest landscape.

Day 11 San Martín de los Andes
Drive to San Martín de los Andes (110km), along the shores of 7 lakes, crossing rivers and through fragrant coihue forests.

Day 12 San Martín de los Andes - Bariloche
Return to Bariloche and overnight.

Day 13 Bariloche – Calafate
Morning self drive to the airport and car drop off. Direct flight to Calafate.
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 14 Calafate
Full day excursion to the spectacular Perito Moreno glacier, where you can get within a stone’s throw of the creaking ice walls, as they shed shards of ice the size of tower blocks. Includes boat trip on the lake.

Day 15 Calafate
Full day excursion to the Upsala Glacier and Estancia Cristina. Sail among hundreds of icebergs on Lago Argentino to Upsala Glacier’s towering western front, the largest glacier in Los Glaciers National Park. From here, you continue sailing through Cristina Canal where you will disembark at the Estancia Cristina, a working ranch on the prairie.

Day 16 Calafate – Buenos Aires
Flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy a last night in Buenos Aires.

Day 17 Buenos Aires – London
Morning at leisure. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
