There are 7 universities here which give the city a definite buzz unmatched elsewhere. The city has a rich colonial atmosphere and takes great pride having been acclaimed ‘Cultural Capital of the Americas’ in 2006.

There are relatively few tourists here and it feels just that little bit off the beaten track – which we like and think you will too! It is one of those places that you won't want to leave and makes you very glad that you came.

Córdoba can be visited all year round and has a temperate rather than Mediterranean climate. Generally, the months between November and February are the hottest, bringing days of 29°C (84°F) and pleasantly warm nights.

This is also the rainy season and despite frequent storms during these months, the city still gets plenty of sunshine. Winters are cool and you won’t be dipping in any swimming pools, but with temperatures dropping to 16°C (61°F) during the day and with little rain, it is generally perfect for outdoor activities, especially horse-riding.
