Don Enrique Lodge

Don Enrique Lodge are cabins set deep in the forest and to explore this fairly untouched part of Argentina, away from the crowds at Iguazu, is very fulfilling. The lodge is located 280 km from Posadas and 290 km from Iguazu Falls. The area is known as the Region of the Waterfalls and Cascades, and this is where the magnificent Waterfalls of Moconá (Saltos de Moconá) are also to be found.

Don Enrique Lodge has been built on the banks of the Paraíso River with wood from the area. There are four bungalows with comfortable verandas to relax and enjoy.

Walking through the jungle, gazing at the lavish variety of plants and animals, visiting the beautiful waterfalls, enjoying appetizers next to the river and sitting next to the fire under a sky full stars, are just some of the ways to spend your time here..…

The rooms are charming and rustic, meals are eaten together around a big table.

You might enjoy spending a day exploring the trails through the forest with a guide; you are right on the edge of the Yaboti Biosphere reservation here. The native Guarani Indian guides will lead you along paths and trails leading to the stunning local waterfalls and cascades. Alternatively you may like to take a photographic safari in the lodge’s own 4x4 vehicle. Swimming in the Paraíso river is also an incredible and unmissable experience.

The easiest way to get to Don Enrique lodge is to fly from Buenos Aires to Posadas and then take the bus to San Vicente or transfers can be arranged from any nearby point.

The rate is all inclusive including all meals, although not drinks.
