Posada de la Laguna

Posada de la Laguna, set in four acres,  was built in 1997. It is located inside the Natural Reserve of Ibera, in the small village of Colonia Carlos Pellegrini. There are 8 rooms each with a private bedroom.

The main house has a restaurant, living-room and bar. The pool is near the restaurant and drinks, lunches etc can be served there. The lodge is so close to the lagoon and the view is wonderful -  a paradise for birdwatchers.

Posada de la Laguna offers a big variety of activities for its guests, usually two different things each day. There are daily or nightly boat trips on the Ibera Lagoon, long walks, canoe rides all while listening to the birdsong. It is also possible to ride horses (this is at extra cost) through the marshlands and palms, or simply relax in a hammock or by the large pool.

We would recommend a stay of 3 to 4 nights.
