The star of the Andean Lakes District is the picturesque town of San Carlos de Bariloche. Situated on the south margin of Lake Nahuel Huapi it follows the shore-line for about 25km; the long coastal Exequiel Bustillo avenue goes up to the Llao Llao hotel.

In Bariloche can be found adventurous activities including hiking, climbing, skiing, rafting, kayaking and fly-fishing to name a few, have grown rapidly over the recent years. The most scenic golf course in Latin America also hides away in this area, close to the famous Llao Llao Resort and Spa Hotel.
