Estancia Alice

Estancia Alice is located on the shores of Lago Argentino, near to El Calafate (12 miles) and close to the Los Glaciares National Park. The estancia is also near to the Glaciar Perito Moreno. The 16 ensuite rooms in the welcoming traditional homestead all have great views of the surrounding landscape, either looking out on the magnificent Andes or with views towards the lake.

The restaurant has a selection of homemade goodies on offer all the time from jams to yummy cookies, scones, bread. Not to mention the traditional Patagonian BBQ, served together with fresh salads and homemade puddings.

Whilst staying here you will have the chance to learn and get involved. At the right time of year you will see sheep-shearing in the traditional sheep shearing shed (El Galpon), plus the incredible spectacle of Kelpie sheep dogs at work. You may also enjoy excellent bird-watching, mountain-biking and fly-fishing here.
