Kau Yatun

Kau Yatun, just ten minutes drive outside of El Calafate, sits in 17 acres of parkland. Kau Yatun is a converted estancia with forty comfortable rooms here and four suites. The lodge even has its own hot air balloon!

Kau Yatun has plenty of character and charm and you will feel incredibly welcome throughout your stay here. In terms of what to do during your stay, you can hike, mountain bike, horse ride, go off-roading in a 4 x 4 and later that day you can return to the lodge for deliciously prepared meals using vegetables from the estancia’s gardens.

There is always time for an asado in the quincho (outside BBQ) and this is the best way to enjoy the local lamb.
