Nibepo Aike
Nibepo Aike, situated within Los Glaciares National Park, is surrounded by stunning Patagonian countryside, 56 km from El Calafate and on the forest mountain shores of the southern arm of Lago Argentina. The 10,000 hectare estancia can take up to 23 guests in 11 rooms (all with ensuite bathroom).
A stay at Nibepo Aike will let you experience what life is like be on a typical Patagonian estancia. Unusually for a Patagonian estancia the main production here is beef cattle and not sheep.
You will be treated to home-cooked meals using the freshest of local ingredients.
During your visit you will be invited to take part in the daily tasks of the estancia - sheep-shearing, rodeo (!), sheep and cattle-branding, milking. Horse-riding for beginners or for more experienced riders is also offered. There is also wonderful fishing from the banks of Lago Rico (southern arm of Lago Argentino).
For wildlife-lovers, condors, eagles, flamingos, kaikén, black-necked swans can also be spotted.
