Luna Salada Hotel

It is unlikely that you will have ever stayed in somewhere like the Luna Salada Hotel for one very good reason, because it is a hotel sculpted entirely from salt. Salt makes good building blocks and although the outside has to be resurfaced after each rainy season, the building is extremely solid (we assure you!).

The bedrooms are spacious with salt floors, Bolivian rugs and tapestries liven things up though and there are additional individual heaters as well as the option of having a hot water bottle put in your bed while you’re at dinner (anyone would think it is cold here…). So, if you have already stayed at the ice hotel, then this is another fun one to add to your tally perhaps.
