Itinerary

Day 1: Flight to Sao Paulo – transfer to Paraty
Arrive in Sao Paulo. Upon arrival, airport reception and private transfer from Sao Paulo to the charming colonial coastal town of Paraty. Stay in Paraty at Picinguaba Pousada for the following 4 nights including breakfast and dinner.

Set on the emerald green Costa Verde, Paraty is a beautifully preserved colonial town. The whitewashed buildings and quiet cobbled streets have been awarded UNESCO world heritage status such is their beauty and historical importance. The town has many great restaurants and some lively bars with Brazilian music.

Day 2/3/4: Paraty
At leisure to explore Paraty.

Day 5: Paraty – Rio
Transfer to Rio in time for the main Carnival celebrations. Stay in Rio for the following 4 nights. at Hotel Porto Bay Rio International for 4 nights including breakfast on Copacabana beach. 

Day 6: Rio
At leisure to enjoy the city's Carnival

Carnival is a busy time. We recommend booking early for the best deals. Please contact us for a quote!

Day 7: Rio
Transfer to the famous Sambadrome to enjoy the colourful samba parades. Your Sambadrome tickets included tonight are in the grandstand sector 9. The show goes on all night long, transfers back to your hotel will be offered approx every 2 hours.

Day 8: Rio
At leisure to relax after a long night of dancing and carnival fun.

Day 9: Rio – Buzios
Travel along the coast to the beach town of Buzios. Buzios is a popular destination for the city's residents. Famous for being 'discovered' in the 1960s by Bridgette Bardot, Buzios is no longer the sleepy fishing village it once was, with an abundance of restaurants, bars, boutique shops and hotels. Thankfully, development hasn't been too drastic, and the town still retains much of its charm, often being referred to as the Brazilian Saint Tropez. Set on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic, there are many beaches within easy reach of the village.

This is a great place to come and soak up the atmosphere with a variety of different activities on offer. Overnight in our favourite posada Casas Brancas for 4 nights.

Day 10/11/12: Buzios
At leisure to relax in Buzios.

Day 13: Buzios - Rio – overnight flight back home
