Starting off in Rio where you can either relax or party depending how tired you are after the wedding, then you will fly to Manaus for a night before embarking on a cruise which will show you something different each day.

HONEYMOON ITINERARY

Day 1: Depart the UK for Rio on an overnight flight.

Day 2: Arrive Rio. Stay for 2 nights in the Copacabana Palace.

Day 3: At leisure in Rio.

Day 4: Fly to Manaus in the middle of the Amazon. Overnight Manaus.

Days 5 - 7: You will be transferred from Manaus to the well-equipped expedition boat The Motor Yacht Tucano, you explore far up the least inhabited river in the Amazon, The Rio Negro. You explore the forest by foot or in the launches, go for swims in beautiful water, visit with local settlers that live deep in the forest, and spend a great deal of time hunting for and observing the greatest collection of wildlife on earth.

Day 8: Arrive at extraordinary river called the Rio Jauaperi and spend the day in this unspoiled and lovely rainforest area.

Day 9: Today we proceed down the southwestern bank of the Rio Negro observing the different wildlife found on this side of the river. Walks and explorations of the forest continue and your list of creatures observed increases!

Day 10: Visit the village of Novo Airão. Walk through the streets and marvel at how the 19th Century thrives in this remote corner of the globe. Travel through the night to the confluence of the Amazon and Negro Rivers.

Day 11: Morning visit the Lago Janauari Ecological Park where the thick brown water of the Amazon flows swiftly through the forest. This area is thick with life and you are almost guaranteed to see monkeys. Travel to the “Encontra das Aguas” the stark several mile long line where the world’s two largest rivers, the Amazon and the Negro, join in a turbulent maelstrom. Evening return to Manaus and overnight on the boat.

Day 12: After breakfast you will disembark from the Tucano and in the afternoon or evening, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Rio.

Day 13: Overnight Rio.

Day 14: Depart Rio.

Day 15: Arrive back in the UK.
