Itinerary

Day 1: Flight to Fortaleza.
Upon arrival airport reception and transfer to your hotel. Fortaleza means Fortress and is the state capital of Ceará, located in Northeastern Brazil. Enjoy an evening stroll through this tropical city. Overnight in Fortaleza.

Day 2: Fortaleza
Enjoy a half day city tour. Overnight in Fortaleza.

Day 3: Fortaleza – Jericoacoara
After breakfast at the hotel check out. Transfer to Jeri Beach, the first 3 hours will be on paved roads through some little villages. The next 1-2 hours are an adventure driving on the beach right next to the ocean with sand dunes by your side. Overnight in Mosquito Blue for the next 4 nights including breakfast.

Day 4/5/6: Jericoacoara
Days of leisure on Jeri Beach. We recommend exploring sunset dune, nearby Preá Beach and if you are adventurous try a kite surfing course.

Day 7: Jericoacoara - Parnaíba
After breakfast your guide will pick you up at the hotel. Enjoy exploring Camocim’s beach Tour visiting the beaches at Atalaia, Coqueiro, Itaqui, Carnaubinha, Macapá, Lagoa do Portinho and Pedra do Sal, ending with a visit to the Boats Port and the highlights of Parnaíba. Overnight in Parnaíba at Pousada, including breakfast.

Day 8: Parnaíba
Full day tour to the Delta of Parnaiba’s rivers. Formed by 85 islands covering an area of 2700 km², located between the States of Piauí and Maranhão, the Delta of the Americas is a combination that you could only find on the Nile or the Mekong.

Within the same ecosystem, exist contrasting landscapes: rivers, lagoons, gigantic dunes, and waterlogged areas, deserted beaches with the whitest of sand and different kinds of mangroves, typical to the region. Not just fauna, crocodiles, monkeys, turtles, crabs and different species of birds. Return to Parnaíba in the evening.

Day 9: Parnaíba - Barreirinhas
Full Caburé beach & Preguiças River

Day 10: Barreirinhas
Land transfer in the morning destination Barreirinhas. By 4wheel drive excursion enjoy some of Brazil’s most spectacular scenery, the Big Lençóis circuit and visit the lagoons.

Day 11 Lençois Maranhenses National Park
Today enjoy a “flying” boat excursion by the Preguiça's River with stop in Vassouras, Mandacaru and Caburé. Return by the end of the afternoon to Barreirinhas.

Day 12: Lençois Maranhenses National Park
Free activities day.

Day 13: São Luís
Return to São Luís by land transfer. Half Day City tour in São Luis.

Day 14: São Luís – Fortaleza – home
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home via Fortaleza
