Pousada do Mondego

Pousada do Mondego is a beautiful hotel in Tiradentes. The rooms are nicely furnished, though some are compact.

The Pousada has a fairly long and diverse history. The historic building has been well maintained and converted into a high quality hotel. The floors and stairs are highly polished wood and there is lots of rustic decoration. There is a small crafts shop.

Most rooms have private facilities and a double bed. From the terrace at the reception level there are magnificent views of the craft market and many of the baroque churches. Due to the close proximity of the churches, this pousada is not the quietest place to stay!

You can look forward to a delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, sweet bites, cereals, milk, juices, coffee, tea and freshly prepared bolinhos do queso.
