Visas
All visitors must travel to Belize on a valid passport (non-expired). The passport must be valid for no less than six months after the intended period of stay in Belize. Nationals of the following countries do NOT require a visa to enter Belize as a tourist for a period of 30 days.

Citizens of the European Union Member States (EU) and their dependent territories.
Citizens of the Caribbean Community Member States (CARICOM) with the exception of Haiti.
Citizens of the United States of America and dependent territories.
Citizens of Costa Rica, Chile, Guatemala, Iceland, Mexico, Norway, South Africa, Tunisia & Uruguay.
Citizens of the Commonwealth Realms & Monarchies, and their dependent territories.
Citizens of Switzerland.
Citizens of the Commonwealth Republics with the exception of the following:L Nauru, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Mozambique, West Africa.

When to go
The overall climate of Belize can be described as sub-tropical, and is typically hot and humid year round. Temperatures range from 50°F to 95°F with an annual average of 79°F. November to January are traditionally the coolest months with a 75°F average and May to September are the warmest at about a 81°F average. Belize has distinct wet and dry seasons. The wet season runs from mid-May to November in the south and from mid-June to November in the north. November to February is a transitional period, with the year’s coolest temperatures and a limited amount of rain. The dry season is February to April.

Getting there
Currently the easiest way to get directly to Belize from the UK is via the US. Gateway cities include Miami, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta and Newark.
Flying via Miami is the shortest flying time, approx. 9 hours from Heathrow and approx. 2 hours onward flight from Miami to Belize City.
An alternative route is via Cancun in Mexico.
