ITINERARY
Day 1: Depart from the UK.
Day 2: Arrive into Santiago in the morning. Spend the afternoon at leisure.
Day 3: Morning tour of Santiago, perhaps visit a local winery in the afternoon?
Day 4: Full day trip to the coastal town of Valparaíso.
Day 5: Fly to the oasis town of San Pedro de Atacama, watch the sunset in the Valley of the Moon.
Days 6-7: Desert explorations in the Atacama, such as visiting the El Tatio geysers and the Salar de Atacama.
Day 8: Fly to Puerto Montt (via Santiago), have an afternoon sightseeing in Puerto Varas.
Day 9: Sail to Chiloé Island for a day of exploring.
Day 10: A full day tour around Lake Llanquihue.
Day 11: Fly to Punta Arenas, and then drive through windswept Patagonian steppe to Puerto Natales.
Day 12: Drive into Torres del Paine National Park.
Day 13: Trips in the park, eg hiking, horse-riding or jeep trips.
Day 14: Further excursions in this magnificent national park.
Day 15: Return to Punta Arenas, an afternoon sightseeing.
Day 16: Depart Santiago.
Day 17: Arrive UK.
