ITINERARY 

Day 1 UK – Santiago
Take overnight flight to Santiago.

Day 2 Santiago
Reception at Santiago airport and transfer to your selected hotel in the heart of the city. Afternoon, city tour of Santiago.

Day 3 Vina del Mar and Valparaiso
Full day of touring around Santiago. Like to visit Valle Nevado, Isla Negra - Pablo Neruda Museum or Cousiño Macul and Concha y Toro wineries instead?

Day 4 Santiago – Lake District / Puerto Varas
Transfer to the airport and take flight to Puerto Montt. Visit Puerto Montt on-route to Puerto Varas. Puerto Montt is the capital of the region. Visit Pelluco beach, Chinquihue on the Tenglo canal before ending the visit in the picturesque village of Angelmó, time to explore this pretty fishing port. Continue onto Philippi Hill. On a clear day the view of the tranquil waters with the Osorno volcano is incredible.

Day 5 Lake District / Ancud in Chiloe
In the morning ferry departure to the "big island" of Chiloe. Pass through Chacao and Caulin where there is much bird life, also famous for its local delicious oysters. Visit Ancud, the largest town on the north of the island and visit the main square, and the Chile Tour museum which has a picture display of the history of Chile showing the myths and legends for which the island is famous. Continue past the Gulf of Quitalmahue to the fort of San Antonio. Time for lunch; then in the afternoon visit Huaihuén Hill for a beautiful view of the town and its surroundings. Return to Puerto Varas, and transfer to your hotel.

Day 6 Lake crossing to Bariloche
Start in Puerto Varas, taking the road via Ensenada. On arrival at Petrohue, board the catamaran which takes you across All Saints Lake, also known as Esmeralda Lake, until you reach the tiny village of Peulla. Travel by bus to Puerto Frías in Argentina and continue by boat to Puerto Alegre. Then onward travel by bus and boat to Puerto Blest and Lake Nahuel Huapi to Puerto Pañuelo. The last leg will be done overland to Bariloche. Upon arrival you will be transfered to your hotel.

Day 7/8 Bariloche
Enjoy Bariloche, many optional excursions available, please contact us for recommendations

Day 9 Bariloche – Buenos Aires
Transfer to airport and flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival our guide will transfer you to your hotel in the centre of town.

Day 10 Buenos Aires
Morning city tour of Buenos Aires, in our opinion South Americas most cosmopolitan cities. We will visit the center of the city, San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero and Palermo, with stops in Plaza de Mayo, Caminito and La Recoleta. In this tour, you will acquire a deep understanding of its characteristics, its history, its architecture, its culture and its best stories.

Day 11 Buenos Aires
Day of leisure. Evening tango show. At night enjoy Esquina Carlos Gardel tango show performed by the best dancers and singers while enjoying a delicious meal. Three-course dinner and Argentinean wine included

Day 12 Buenos Aires – UK
Day of leisure in Buenos Aires. Evening transfer to the airport and overnight flight back home.
