The Lake Crossing
The famous and beautiful ‘Lake Crossing’ is a full day trip which is essentially a linked series of bus trips and boats across the mountains and lakes bringing you from either Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas and Ensenada to Petrohue and lands you at the end of the day in Bariloche, Argentina.
There is also the option of completing the crossing in 2 days with an overnight stay in Puella.
Those who are staying on in Chile, rather than crossing into Argentina, can enjoy a full day lake crossing from Petrohue to Puella with lunch and then return to their hotel in the evening. Whichever option you choose will be great fun and beautiful.
