The Explora's rooms all with a jacuzzi have views of either Salto Chico waterfall or the Paine Massif. There are also 6 larger Suites with views of the Massif.
Explora is open all year round, but in terms of maximizing your chances of good weather, the better, but busier, times of year to visit are from November - March. That said, April to June is our most preferred time of travel. The national park displays stunning autumn colors and the strong wind has disappeared. Winter-July to September-is the best time of year for seeing the Patagonian wildlife. September and October can also be lovely with spring colors.
The hotel boasts a jacuzzi, sauna, heated lap pool, games room and massage treatment room.
Organised excursions are in small groups with bi-lingual guides and there are five different excursions to choose from each day whether by foot, boat or on horseback.
There are programmes of either 4 or 8 nights available all year round, subject to availability. To make the most of your time here, Explora recommend that you stay as long as you can. 5, 6 and 7 night programs are available between May and September upon request.
