Zero Hotel
The lovely Zero Hotel with only nine rooms offers a great base from which to explore the up and coming port city of Valparaiso. Zero has been lovingly restored and really does give you the feeling of staying in a home away from home. There are great views across the bay from four of the rooms, the terrace and also the plunge pool.
Zero sits on Cerro Alegre and is within walking distance of some of Valparaiso's best bars and restaurants as well as the main sites of interest. All nine rooms have impossibly high ceilings and enormously tall doors. They are spacious with comfy beds and the most luxurious linen and towels.
The mix between traditional and modern is combined well with lovely original features in all rooms and throughout the hotel as well as a good-sized flat screen TV and wi-fi connection. There is an honesty bar for alcoholic drinks and Zero's chef produces the most delicious food using only the freshest of ingredients.
This hotel is a real treat.
