The Resort
This is where the Chileans head for their ski or snowboarding holiday. Outside of the national holidays at the end of July the slopes have few skiers and lots of options. With 28 runs, 35 km of groomed and maintained pistes and a skiable area of 10,000 hectares it is a skiers paradise.

The top Elevation is 2,700m. There are also 9 lifts and 30% of the area is for beginners, 40% for intermediate and 30% for experts only. The resort is also able to offer good off-piste skiing, nordic skiing, randonee, heliski, snowmobiles and sledges.

The spa has nine blue-water pools which are open all year round. With many beautiful natural attractions, summer here also offers visitors a recreational and relaxing retreat. All kinds of treatments are available from hydrotherapy to shiatsu.

Don't miss out on a visit to the Club House discotheque or one of the other hotel bars. If a relaxing time is more you, then the Grand Hotel bar is the perfect place to put your feet up for some après drinks in front of the log fire before dinner & the evening entertainment.

Chillan is easy to reach. There is a daily flight to Concepcion (1 hour) and then a road transfer of 90 mins to get to the thermal springs. Or there is a daily train from Santiago to Chillan which takes four hours.
