Islas del Rosario

This is the place to come if you are after Caribbean beach experience, but don’t have the time to head to Providencia or San Andres. Just a forty-five minute boat ride away from Cartegena brings you to a white sandy piece of paradise with some great beaches. Alternatively the islands are an eighty minute flight from Bogota.

This area is just one of 46 national parks in Colombia and it protects one of the most important coral reefs of the Colombian Caribbean. Either you can come here for a day trip from Cartegena or a one night stay here, provides a really nice break from the city bustle.

Come to snorkel, swim or relax on a beach.
