Sol y Luna is enclosed in a red-walled courtyard surrounded by tall eucalyptus trees and lush gardens, with Andean Peaks as the backdrop. There are 28 spacious bungalows with private terraces, filled with lovely wooden furniture.

Sol y Luna is located c.1 km from the town of Urubamba and is a convenient departure point for Machu Picchu with trains leaving daily from nearby Urubamba and Ollantaytambo stations.

Many activities are offered by Sol y Luna´s Activity Centre - Viento Sur. Activities include mountain biking, riding, walking, para-gliding etc.
