For quite a long time this was Costa Rica’s best kept secret. A little further south along the coast from Manuel Antonio you will find Dominical. The scenery is picture perfect with ‘jungle beaches’ great for surfing, though not so good for swimmers. A paradise for bird spotters too… You will find some lovely secluded beaches. There is a slower pace of life in the south here – where bad roads have put many people off! It is one of the least-visited areas of Costa Rica and those who have discovered this wish to keep it this way.
