The Hotel
All Standard Rooms and Junior Suites have private baths, mini-bar, telephones, coffee makers and cable TVs.

Standard rooms have two queen sized beds. Junior Suites have a king and a queen sized bed.

The pool is perfect for all ages, overlooking the green and abundant forest. The jacuzzis fit 4 to 6 people and are excellent after a long hike in the area, encouraging couples or families to get together, relax and enjoy a drink at the bar overlooking the sunset.

Hotel Fonda Vela has two restaurants. The elegant and spacious Galleria seats 100, and has walls of large windows with beautiful, tropical views. Sometimes, wild animals come to the windows to watch the diners!

The cozy Fireside Room seats 40 and is accentuated by the crackle and dancing flames of a wood-burning fireplace.

Terrace seating on the balcony offer views of the Gulf of Nicoya where you can enjoy the truly beautiful sunsets.

Monteverde is an ideal destination for relaxing and enjoying the wonders of the tropics. A visit of at least two nights or more in Monteverde is recommended.
