Our rather romantically named itinerary is a relaxing option, with not too much going on, but you will enjoy time in Quito, a chance to stay in a lovely hacienda north of Quito and rounded off with a week long Galapagos cruise.

On this itinerary we combine a very charming hacienda with the unique experience of the Galapagos Islands. Could this be the perfect honeymoon?

HONEYMOON ITINERARY

Day 1: Depart from the UK, via Madrid to Quito. Private transfer to the Patio Andaluz, a small and friendly colonial hotel in the heart of the city's old town for two nights.

Day 2: Day in Quito. Morning city tour, afternoon at leisure.

Days 3-5: Enjoy an interesting two hour drive north through the Andes for 3 nights at Hacienda Cusin, for a few days to appreciate the highlands and perhaps visit Otavalo market.

Day 6: Road transfer back to Quito for a night at the Patio Andaluz.

Days 7-13: Morning flight to the Galapagos, and embark on your chosen boat for a week-long cruise. An experienced naturalist guide will ensure you learn the most about the unique wildlife you will see as you visit the different islands.

Day 14: Fly back to Guayaquil for a final night before a transfer to the airport next morning for your flight home, via Madrid.

Day 15: Arrive UK.
