Hotel Plaza Grande
In a $3.5 million restoration of the former Majestic hotel (which closed in 1970), this five-story neoclassic building uses only the best and furniture for each suite has been specially designed.
There are heated marble floors in the bathrooms while bath butlers can be summoned to infuse your jacuzzi with indigenous essences. Every suite also has a flat screen tv, sound proofed windows etc. Room service is available twenty-four hours a day.
Quiteños are now returning to the ground-floor café and the cigar and cognac bars on the top floor.
