La Rabida

Hotel de La Rábida is an old traditional home recently restored into a charming small Quito hotel with just 11 rooms. La Rabida is situated in the New Town in the area known as La Mariscal, near most places of historical and tourist interest as well as restaurants, banks and some useful book shops.

Your hosts are Judy and Sergio. Judy, formerly of Oswestry in Shropshire and her husband,Sergio, is from Italy. Together they form a lovely team and will be happy to welcome you into their home from home during your stay in Quito.

All rooms have a private bathroom, cable TV, direct phone and safe deposit box. The beds are covered with a soft down comforter with white, clean duvet covers. Complimentary bottled water, chocolates, shampoo and soap are all provided.

Brownie the Bunny is a permanent resident at the garden at La Rabida. He is very friendly, but if you are staying in one of the garden rooms you should ensure that he doesn’t come into your room. He knows he shouldn’t!

Hair dryers available from reception. Internet access is free (there is one computer downstairs).
