Horse-riding in Ecuador
To ride a horse in Ecuador on holiday really is one of the best ways to see the Ecuadorian countryside. On board a beautiful horse, well suited to the varying terrain, with an expert English-speaking guide and an interesting route with lots to see along the way, you will follow ancient Inca highways and Spanish colonial routes whilst overnighting in haciendas.
We are pleased to offer you 2 different itineraries: Colonial Haciendas and the Cotopaxi ride. Both rides are for experienced or intermediate riders. You should be happy at all paces. The Cotopaxi trip covers slightly more challenging riding terrain with more basic hacienda accommodation.
Colonial Hacienda (7 nights) The Colonial Hacienda ride takes you to two very different areas of the Andes and uses slightly more comfortable haciendas.
Cotopaxi Ride (6 nights) - the Cotopaxi Ride circumnavigates Cotopaxi volcano and takes you far off the beaten track to explore the highlands surrounding Antisana volcano with nights in rustic local accommodation.
