Chan Kah resort village, set in 500 acres of jungle is located just over a kilometre away from Palenque on the main road which takes you to the ruins. With 79 simple rooms, but with air-conditioning, there is also a large swimming pool.
The town of Palenque is just 20 mins away which is quite fun to have a wonder around if you want. Otherwise by staying at this resort, you can get up early and head off to the magical ruins at Palenque, giving yourself a chance to be at the ruins in relative peace before some of the other visitors arrive later on after breakfast.
