This beautiful property began as a farm and has now developed into one of the best hotels in the area. El Parador San Juan de Dios is located in one of the oldest zones of San Cristobal de la Casas. The architecture dates from the 17-19th century and is constructed from old adobe brick and thousands of stones. The hotel is set within beautiful gardens.

The Hotel
There are two great locations to enjoy a wide range of food.

Both specialise in haute cuisine, traditional dishes from Chiapas, Mediterranean cuisine and specialties from the grill and wood oven - all are accompanied by fresh, organic salad from the on-site garden.

La Terraza is an open air restaurant serving up “cochito Horneago” (smoked pig), delicious barbecued meats and an organic salad bar.

While not enjoying the cuisine, guests are encouraged to explore the beautiful art gallery.
