Villa Rolandi

Villa Rolandi is a luxurious 5 star hotel is located on the Southern part of Isla Mujeres on the Sac Bajo peninsula, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, with views of Cancun. The hotel lies between the beach with its white sand and the Lagoon Makax, where its private luxury yacht has its pier. The hotel features a total of 35 accommodations in 4 different categories; including 20 Jr. Suites, 11 Jr. Suites Deluxe, 3 Standard Ocean View Rooms and 1 Presidential Suite.

The pampering begins from the moment you step on to Villa Rolandi's private yacht Cocoon, which takes you over to Isla Mujeres in great style (20 min boat ride). You will be presented with a cool towel and chilled drink while you check in to the glamorous lobby and in your own time be shown to your room.

A wonderful feature of this hotel is that all rooms have an ocean view, and breakfast is delivered to your room - allowing you to wake up each morning and enjoy breakfast on your terrace, with the ocean twinkling below in the morning sunlight.

During the day it is very nice to just laze around the stunning infinity pool and have cold drinks and snacks bought to you. Lay back and gaze out to the ocean or saunter down and have a stroll along the soft sand. If you're feeling more active there are great tours available: scuba-diving, hire a boat, deep sea fishing, take a trip into Isla Mujeres' town and wander round the colorful shops.

A major attraction at Villa Rolandi is the delicious food served in the restaurant. Continental breakfast and either lunch or dinner are included in the room rate, so don't come here if you are wanting to lose weight! The gourmet Swiss and Italian dishes and selection of over eighty of the finest tequilas make the evening meals very memorable. Sit and dine under the stars, with the Caribbean lapping gently below.

Villa Rolandi makes for a very peaceful break with good food, good service and beautifully tranquil surroundings. It may be worth hiring a buggy though to explore the rest of the island.

Try to avoid September and October as it is the hurricane season and will rain in the afternoons often heavily.
