La Casona

La Casona is a small boutique hotel, just a few blocks from one of Mexico City´s most impressive avenues, Paseo de la Reforma. It is a former stately home with a pink facade and period balconies that evoke the architectural urban splendour of the beginning of the 20th century. This grand building with its 29 bedrooms has been completely restored and is now listed as an artistic monument by the National Institute of Fine Arts.

This elegant and charming hotel offers all modern services. With a low-key decor, the restaurant offers simple international cuisine in an intimate and friendly ambiance for both guests and local patrons.

The bedrooms have wooden floor and lovely furniture to make you feel at home. From this historic corner of the city, you can wander off to discover Mexico City. Located to the west, you will find the forest of Chapultepec, crowned by its romantic castle with a magnificent view of this immense city, or visit the excellent  Anthropology Museum. Eastward you may enjoy the highlights of the cosmopolitan and attractive district, “Zona Rosa,” and from here head for the hub of this city, its huge zocalo.
