Itinerary
Day 1: London – Merida
Fly to Mérida arriving the same evening. Upon arrival airport reception and transfer to your hotel. Stay at Casa del Balam for 3 nights including breakfast.
Note: Upgrade to Hacienda Temozon (not located in Merida itself), one of the best places on the Yucatan peninsula.
Day 2: Merida Maya ruins Uxmal/Kabah
You will enjoy today’s excursion to the wonderful archeological sites of Uxmal and Kabah. The rich green fertile land provides a perfect setting for some of the most magnificent pyramids, buildings and temples of the ancient Mayan world. Kabah is the second largest ruin of the Puuc region, after Uxmal. The most famous structure at the Kabah ruins is the Palacio de las Mascaras (the Palace of the Masks), its facade decorated with hundreds of stone masks of the long-nosed rain god Chaac.

At leisure to explore or enjoy the beautiful landscaped gardens and pool of your hacienda.
Day 4: Merida – Chichen Itza
After breakfast, leave Mérida on your way to the ancient archeological site of Chichen-Itza. Guided tour in English, the famous Mayan pyramids of Chichen-Itza are more than 1,500 years old. Overnight at Hacienda Mayaland including breakfast.
Day 5: Chichen Itza – Playa del Carmen
Continue to Playa del Carmen on the Caribbean coast. Stay at Hotel La Tortuga for 7 nights.
Note: Prefer a quieter beach, Tulum a little further south is stunning and much more quiet. Ask us for a tailor made quote.
Day 6-1: Playa del Carmen
Day of leisure to enjoy the beach.
Optional activities available; e.g. snorkeling in Cenotes (underground river and caves) near Tulum, Maya ruins of Tulum
Day 12: Playa del Carmen – UK
After breakfast check out and transfer to the airport. Flight back home
