This resort hotel is located midway between Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo on the Costa Careyes (also commonly referred to as Costa Alegre). El Tamarindo is about 31 miles north of the Manzanillo International airport and about 132 miles south of Puerto Vallarta. A host of airlines now offer daily service to Manzanillo International airport during the high season, which runs from mid-December through early May.
