Las Casitas del Colca

This newly opened and extremely comfortable Orient-Express property, Las Casitas del Colca boasts twenty individual casitas offering privacy, exclusivity and an opportunity to experience the beauty of the Colca Canyon in true style.

The casitas have been sympathetically built and decorated with the beauty of the region in mind.  The main emphasis has been placed on natural materials; walls are made of brick, roofs are constructed of wood and handcrafted tiles. Beautiful Laja stone floors have been laid in the casitas and on the terraces, complete with under-floor heating.

Each casita has its own private terrace, an indoor and an outdoor shower and a heated plunge pool, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the magnificent Colca Canyon. 

Las Casitas del Colca is a twenty four hectare property in the canyon, situated on the left bank of the Colca River. It takes between three and four hours to get here by road transfer from Arequipa and  we recommend that you stay for at least two, if not three nights. Another great thing about Las Casitas del Colca is that once here, everything is included: all meals; all drinks; activities such as riding the beautiful Peruvian Pasos, hiking, painting lessons, Peruvian cooking lessons and also Pisco sour making lessons!

The property has been designed to take you back to enjoying the simple pleasures in life.  Food is grown on the fields surrounding the property, water is drawn from local natural springs and nature is all around you.
