How to deal with the side effects of high altitude?
We recommend staying on one of the hotels with oxygen release into your room, allowing for your first day to be at leisure and taking it easy on this day, arriving hydrated and drinking plenty of water (at least an extra litre to your normal consumption) and eating light food as heavy meals tend to slow down the adjustment time to the lower oxygen levels.
