Rooms have a rust and black color scheme that is offset by white walls and bedding, plus twinkling lights of the city outside at night. Cushioned headboards, beamed ceilings, and soft lighting create a dramatic feel in the standards, while the junior suites have a full living room set, a dining area, and more local artwork.

Two special suites with multiple views give VIPs room to stretch out or bring along the entourage. The 18-floor tower affords some of the best city views in town through its walls of glass. All rooms have iPod docks, 32-inch flat-screen TVs, electronic safes large enough for a laptop, great bedding, and phones with voice mail.
 
Baths are decked out with all the expected amenities plus marble vanities, quality toiletries, robes, and slippers. Some baths are shower-only, but these have spa showers with multiple nozzles and those on the corners receive natural light from frosted windows.

Wired or wireless Internet access is complimentary. Despite the urban location, good double-glazing keeps the noise at bay and blackout curtains keep the light out when needed.

The heated swimming pool on an upper floor is open-air but covered except for a sun deck. A small fitness center with new equipment adjoins.

The main restaurant on the ground floor, with a whimsical folk art mural on one wall, is a bright and attractive space with a glassed-in patio. It serves quality buffets accompanied by cloth napkins for breakfast and lunch, then gets fancier and candlelit for dinner. The neighboring chic café in green and black serves lighter fare and good coffee with its own glass sunroom as well.
