Itinerary

Day 1: Lima
Overnight flight to Lima. Please contact us for an airfare quote for your most preferred dates and departure city.

Day 2: Lima
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city tour of Lima. Overnight in Miraflores at Casa Andina Private Selection

Day 3: Cuzco
Morning, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and afternoon at leisure to acclimatize. For the next 2 nights overnight at the beautiful Aranwa Boutique Hotel.

Day 4: Cuzco
In the morning visit Sacsayhuaman and the Inca Shrine Qenqo. In the afternoon visit Korikancha temple and San Pedro Market to see a traditional Andean Market in Cuzco.

Day 5: Sacred Valley
Morning, transfer to the train station. Train takes us through the Sacred Valley of the Incas up to the town of Aguas Calientes. From here, we will board a bus to the mountaintop citadel of Machu Picchu. In the evening, we will enjoy a wonderful dinner at the hotel or in the village of Aguas Calientes. Overnight at Sol y Luna tonight in the Sacred Valley.

Day 6: Machu Picchu
The train will take you to Aguas Calientes, 25mins away from the citadel. After a guided visit, enjoy lunch at Sanctuary Lodge (courtesy of Imagine Latin America) opposite the ruins. Afterwards you have time to explore the fortress independently or to go for an optional hike to the sungate. Dinner at Inkaterra Hotel included. Overnight at Inkaterra Pueblo Hotel, one of our most preferred hotels in Peru.

Day 7: Machu Picchu
Day of leisure. You may choose to return to Machu Picchu, hike Huayna Picchu or relax in Aguas Calientes and its hot springs. In the afternoon, we will board the train to return to Cuzco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Aranwa Boutique Hotel.

Day 8: Cuzco - Buenos Aires
Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima and connect with the flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer at arrival and overnight in fashionable Palermo Soho at Nuss Hotel for the next 3 nights. Imagine Latin America clients receive a free room upgrade (subject to availability) and bottle of Argentinean red wine.

Day 9: Buenos Aires
Day at leisure to explore Buenos Aires independently. Please ask us our personal must do travel tips!

Day 10: Buenos Aires
Day at leisure. Evening tango show. At night, enjoy Argentina’s finest, the tango! Esquina Carlos Gardel tango show is performed by the best dancers and singers. Three-course dinner (vegetarian meals also on option) and Argentinean wine included.

Day 11: Iguazu Falls
Moring flight to Iguazu. Overnight at Loi Suites for the following 2 days set in the forest near the falls.

Day 12: Iguazu Falls
Morning guided tour to the Argentina side of the waterfalls. Afternoon Great Adventure: This tour combines a jungle trip with a boat trip to the falls. Trip starts in the jungle of the National Park in 4 by 4 trucks without roof for best visibility of the trees and to take good photos. Then we take a zodiac boat to the lower Iguazu River upstream to discover the falls little by little with a panoramic view of the Iguazu Falls. Be prepared to get wet under the falls!

Day 13: Rio de Janeiro
Morning tour to the Brazil side of the waterfalls. Afternoon, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Rio at Porto Bay hotel for the next 3 nights.

Day 14: Rio de Janeiro
Full day city tour of Rio, including trips up to Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Mountain with private guide.

Day 15: Rio de Janeiro
Day free to enjoy Rio or the lovely roof top swimming pool with stunning views over Sugar Loaf and Copacabana beach.

Day 16: Return home
Transfer to the airport to take the flight back home.
