Itinerary

Day 1: London-Lima
Flight to Lima. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Lima-Arequipa
Morning flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival, airport reception and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city tour.

Day 3: Arequipa-Colca
Leave Arequipa by bus, crossing the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, with a stop at Patapampa.

Day 4: Colca Canyon
Chivay / Cruz del Condor. Leave the hotel to explore the town of Yanque and visit its church. Continue to Cruz del Condor viewpoint to admire the majestic flight of the Andean condors. Overnight in Colca Canyon.

Day 5: Colca Canyon to Lake Titicaca
Enjoy a scenic bus ride through the highlands. Arrive to the main bus station in Puno and transfer to your hotel.

Day 6: Lake Titicaca/Suasi Island
Transfer to the port to take a boat ride over Lake Titicaca, to visit the floating islands of Uros. Afternoon, visit to the isle of Taquile.

Day 7: Suasi Island
Spend the morning canoeing along Lake Titicaca watching seabirds like grebes, Andean geese, black skimmers, Peruvian boobies and different species of seagulls, as well as Camelids and Vizcachas.

Day 8: Suasi Island - Puno
Transfer to boat to the shore of lake Titicaca, Puno. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Afternoon visit the ruins of Sillustani.

Day 9: Puno - Cuzco
Morning transfer to Juliaca airport. Flight to Cuzco and transfer to your hotel upon arrival. Afternoon city tour of Cuzco, visit the Korikancha Temple or Temple of the Sun and the Cathedral and its Art Museum.

Day 10: Sacred Valley
Full-day excursion to Pisac town, and visit its authentic and traditional Indian market. Continue through the Urubamba Valley to Ollantaytambo.

Day 11: Machu Picchu
Morning transfer to the train station. The train takes us through the Sacred Valley of the Incas up to the town of Aguas Calientes. From here, we will board a bus to Machu Picchu.

Day 12: Machu Picchu – Cuzco
Day at leisure. You may choose to return to Machu Picchu, hike Huayna Picchu or relax in the village of Aguas Calientes and its hot springs. In the afternoon, we will board the train to return to Cuzco.

Day 13: Cuzco to Amazon Jungle Lodge
Morning transfer and flight from Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado. Upon arrival reception and transfer to our office in Puerto Maldonado. After a brief survey of the town, transfer by boat and overland to your lodge. Enjoy dinner followed by a night excursion into the Amazon.

Day 14/15: Amazon Lodge 
Enjoy two full days of excursions at your Amazon Lodge. All meals and excursions are included.

Day 16: Amazon Lodge  – Lima
After an early breakfast, we will return to Puerto Maldonado for our flight back to Lima.

Day 17: Lima – home
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
