Itinerary

Day 1: UK to Lima
Flight to Lima, overnight in Lima at chosen airport hotel.

Day 2: Lima-Arequipa
Morning flight to Arequipa. Airport reception and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city tour including the Catalina Convent, the Plaza de Armas or Main Square, the Cathedral, the Church of La Compania and the Colonial district of Yanahuara.

Day 3: Arequipa / Chivay
Leave Arequipa by bus, crossing the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, passing by Pampa Cańahuas, the Bojedales of Tocra (water filterings) with a stop at Patapampa, special viewpoint of the Andes situated at 4,800 meters. Lunch at Chivay. Overnight in Colca.

Day 4: Colca Canyon ,Chivay, Cruz del Condor
Explore the town of Yanque and visit its church. Continue to Cruz del Condor viewpoint to admire the majestic flight of the Andean condors. Overnight in Colca Canyon.

Day 5: Chivay / Puno Lake Titicaca
Enjoy the scenic journey through the highlands.

Day 6: Lake Titicaca / Suasi Island 
Transfer to the port to take a boat ride over Lake Titicaca, to visit the floating islands of Uros. Afternoon, visit to the isle of Taquile. All meals included.

Day 7: Suasi Island
Spend the morning canoeing along Lake Titicaca. Hiking Mount Mulluni for an additional fee.

Day 8: Suasi Island - Cuzco
Transfer to boat to the shore of lake Titicaca, Puno. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 9: Puno - Cuzco
Flight to Cuzco. Afternoon city tour of Cuzco, visit the Korikancha Temple or Temple of the Sun and the Cathedral and its Art Museum. Another way to get to Cusco is by regular Tourist bus, with lunch and stops for visiting the archaeological sites on route. Please contact us for more information.

Day 10: Sacred Valley and Pisac Market
Excursion to Pisac town, and visit its authentic and traditional Indian market. Continue through the Urubamba Valley to Ollantaytambo, favored residence of the Incas. Note: Market operates only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Day 11: Machu Picchu
Morning transfer to the train station. The train takes us through the Sacred Valley of the Incas up to the town of Aguas Calientes.

Day 12: Machu Picchu – Cuzco
Day at leisure. You may choose to return to Machu Picchu, hike Huayna Picchu or relax in the village of Aguas Calientes and its hot springs.

Day 13: Cuzco - Amazon
Morning transfer and flight from Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado.

Day 14/15: Amazon
Enjoy one of many included excursions in the Amazon. All meals included.

Day 16: Amazon – Lima
After an early breakfast, flight back from Puerto Maldonado via Lima to the UK.
