How much additional spending money will I need?
You will defiinitely want some extra spending money in Peru. There are some wonderful things to buy in the shape of alapaca scarfs, shawls, rugs, finger puppets etc. Accommodation includes breakfast only. Also not included: meals other than breakfast, drinks, tips, airport departure tax, items of a personal nature.

What currency do they use?
Nuevo sol. Take US dollars and change your money into the local currency upon arrival in Lima.

What will the weather be like?
If travelling from May - November this is the dry season in the Andes and there will hopefully be little rain. December to April is the rainy season. Please refer to our Peru section for further information.
