Tailor-made holidays to Peru and The Sacred Valley with ATOL bonded, London based tour operator, Imagine Latin America

Horse-Riding in the Sacred Valley

Horse-Riding in the Sacred Valley is arguably the best way to get off the tourist track. If you are a competent rider and happy to try out a new style of riding - Peruvian style - then you will love riding the beautiful Peruvian Pasos, which have earned themselves the reputation of being the ‘cadillac’ of horses.

With a minimum group size of 2 and a maximum group size of 8, you can choose between a two, three or four day riding trip.

The 2 day, 'Posada del Inca' ride visit the saltpans of Salinas, the village of Maras, the ruins of Cheqoq and the agricultural terraces of Moray.

‘The Monasterio ride’ is a 3 day ride through the Sacred Valley with visits to fascinating Inca sites along the route. The ride will take you to the same amazing places as on the two day ride, plus also Lake Huaypo.

The other 'short' option (there is also an 11 day ride!) is the 4 day ‘Ollantay’ ride, where you visit all of the above, as well as the Inca ruins at Chinchero.

Do call and speak to Jo to discuss the riding and horses in more detail on 0207 622 1116.

“Why walk, when you can cruise through the Sacred Valley on the back of a Peruvian Paso horse.”
